Jane's House 7/25/12

Workers come early in the morning to start working on the exterior of the house.

The side of the house, along Clarendon.

Taken at twilight, in the main room of the house. The drywall is up in all the rooms.

Looking out into the back yard from the great room.

Far left door leads to bedroom at the front of the house. Middle door is the front door and the right door leads to the garage.

Looking from the garage toward our house.

Jane's House 7/17/12

The day after we came back from vacation . . . A house!
Garage on left, entry in middle, bedroom on right

When you walk through the front door, it looks like it will be a great room. Notice the framewok for an island in the kitchen. The master bedroom will be in the back of the house.

Piles of dirt

After 2 months of no work on the house, suddenly workers appear. Only 3 walls remain of the original house.

The roof and the shed are gone.

Jane's House 4/22/12

Our neighbor, Jane, died on July 1, 2011. Her niece sold the house about seven months later to a contractor. For several months, the house just sat.

Before the renovation began, 2 large dumpsters arrived (one placed in the front of the house and the other in the back) and the house was emptied.
